Out & About - Austin TX

So I traveled to Austin this weekend and had one free night to go out and explore before the rest of the family and friends arrived.

First stop, Winebelly. Found the place online and it was pretty close to the hotel. Its in a small little shopping center (maybe two joints) and from the outside it looked a little on the smaller side but very inviting.

As you walk in the bar greets u and a pretty wide selection of wine is right there in front of you. I sat at the bar and was very impressed by the selection of wine, though a good number of them I recognize from CA.

The food was amazing, i had Wagyu Beef Sliders (2 sliders) and the meat plate (enough for 2 to share). Both very impressive and both 13 bucks a piece with the.

The bartender was very well versed in wine and I was very happy with the blend that he picked out for me.

If your in town and want a small date place, I definitely recommend Winebelly.
