Thoughts:
While I'm not a big fan of Chardonnays, I will say this one took me by surprise. It smells like a normal Chardonnay, and it coated the glass very well. But the taste was so much better. The wine is smooth from beginning to end and has a very clean crisp taste. It came across as pretty light on the sugar, ensuring that after the sip there wasn't an aftertaste.
This is a great wine for a hot summer day, light and refreshing. I had drank this wine while enjoying a piece of salmon with lemon butter sauce and it was outstanding. I look forward to picking up another couple of bottles when I visit the winery.
On your travels if you happen to see this bottle and enjoy a good wine on a hot day, pick it up.
